RETURN POLICY

1. Cancellation After Purchase

Once an order has been placed and successfully paid, the fulfilment process is automatically initiated.

Azurro Eyewear works with international logistics partners and external warehouses. As a result, orders generally cannot be modified or cancelled once placed.

This does not affect the consumer’s statutory right of withdrawal within the European Union as described below.

However, we cannot guarantee that cancellation is still possible if the logistics process has already started.


2. Return Period

You have the right to return your order within 30 days after receiving the product.

This period starts on the day you, or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier), physically receives the product.

For consumers within the European Union, the statutory right of withdrawal applies in accordance with applicable legislation.


3. Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, the product must:

  • be unused and unworn;
  • be undamaged;
  • include original tags (where applicable);
  • be returned, as far as reasonably possible, in its original packaging.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the product resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the product.

Proof of purchase or order number is required.


4. International Returns (DAP Structure)

Our deliveries are made under the Delivered At Place (DAP) Incoterms® 2020 condition.

This means that for international shipments:

  • import duties and customs clearance in the destination country are the responsibility of the recipient;
  • returns from within the European Union to outside the EU may require export formalities.

Returned items are sent to our international warehouse outside the European Union.

Any export formalities or costs related to returning the product are the responsibility of the customer.

Azurro Eyewear does not handle import declarations for returned goods.


5. Return Registration

Before returning any product, you must contact us at:

info@azurro-eyewear.com

You will then receive a return form and further instructions.

Returns sent without prior approval cannot be processed.


6. Return Shipping Costs

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service. The sender remains responsible for the shipment until it has been successfully received by our warehouse.

Azurro Eyewear is not liable for any lost or damaged return shipments in transit.


7. Return Address

If you exercise your right of withdrawal, you will receive the return address after registering your return.

All returns are processed through our international warehouse.


8. Unaccepted or Uncollected Parcels

If an order is not accepted upon delivery or is not collected from a pickup point within the carrier’s deadline, it will be automatically returned according to international shipping procedures.

In such cases, any costs charged by the carrier or customs, including:

  • return shipping fees
  • customs clearance fees
  • storage fees

may be deducted from the refund amount.

As we offer free shipping, original shipping costs are not refunded separately.

Returns via this route may require longer processing times.


9. Damages and Issues Upon Receipt

Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt.

If the product is defective, damaged, or incorrect, please notify us as soon as possible at:

Please include:

  • order number
  • clear description of the issue
  • supporting photos or evidence

We will assess the issue and provide an appropriate solution, such as repair, replacement, or refund.


10. Exchanges

If you wish to receive a different item, you must first return the original item in accordance with this return policy.

Once the return has been received and approved, you may place a new order.

We do not offer direct exchanges.


11. Refunds

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you regarding approval of your refund.

If approved, the refund will be processed within 10 business days to the original payment method.

Please note that banks and credit card providers may require additional processing time.

12. Sale Items

Items purchased during promotions, discounts, or sales are subject to a 14-day return period from the date of receipt.

The product must be:

  • unused
  • undamaged
  • (as far as reasonably possible) in original packaging

A proof of purchase is required.

Consumer rights within the European Union remain fully applicable.


13. Uncollected or Refused Parcels

If an order is delivered to a pickup point or delivery location and is not collected within the carrier’s timeframe, or is refused upon delivery, it will be considered an uncollected parcel.

Such shipments may be returned to the warehouse of origin.

Azurro Eyewear reserves the right to deduct the following costs from the refund:

  • return shipping costs
  • administrative fees
  • storage fees
  • customs clearance fees
  • any additional logistics costs

For these orders, only a partial refund will be issued.

Delays caused by international logistics or customs procedures are outside the control of Azurro Eyewear.

Azurro Eyewear is not responsible for additional costs resulting from the failure to collect or accept a shipment.
